First Post on my new blog

You may have already gathered this from the title, but just in case, this is my first post on my new blog. 

I'm starting a new blog to protect my family and our privacy a little.  I also wanted to be a little more purposeful with my blog.  I'm not sure how this part is going to develop yet, but it is a goal.

I want to be transparent, authentic, and vulnerable in the things I post.  My purpose is not necessarily to share something that will change my reader's life, but rather to share what it happening in my life, though perhaps mostly my head and heart.  If you, my reader, are blessed or encouraged or challenged, all the better.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.
